Since 1992 the Karlovy Vary Municipal Police has, among other things, looked after local public order matters and helped keep residents and visitors to our beautiful spa town safe. As of 1 August 2026 the municipal police has 64 officers, 6 administrative staff and 13 crime prevention assistants (APK).
